Karl Steffens is a member of the steering committee of the Kaleidoscope special interest group Narrative and Learning Environments. He is also coordinator of an EDU-ELEARN project on Self-regulated Learning (SRL) in Technology Enhanced Learning Environments (TELEs), six of whose nine members are also Kaleidoscope members (details here). From the project, a Targeted Cooperative Network on the topic was initiated (TACONET).
