Call for Workshop, Tutorial and Interactive Event Proposals. The 19th International Conference on Computers in Education, ICCE 2011, will be held on 28 November, 2011 through 2 December, 2011 in Chiang Mai,Thailand.

The organizers invite proposals for workshop, tutorial, and interactive event to be held in conjunction with the main conference.
ICCE2011 : Call for Workshop Proposals
The purpose of these workshops is to provide participants with an
informal setting to discuss technical issues, to exchange research
ideas, and to share practical experiences on some focused topics or
emerging sub-areas in computers in education. Workshops can be (a) in
the form of mini-conferences with paper presentations or (b)
discussion-oriented involving perhaps collaborative work. All papers
accepted for the mini-conference type workshops will appear in one
volume of workshop proceedings with ISBN. Published workshop papers will
be made available on the official ICCE2011 website. Researchers and
practitioners from all areas on computers in education are invited to
submit proposals for review. The organizers of approved workshops are
expected to define the workshop's focus, gather and review submissions,
and decide upon final program content.
A workshop proposal should be less than four pages in length and should contain:
1. Title of the workshop
2. Style of the workshop (i.e. mini-conference or discussion style)
3. A brief description of the workshop topic
4. A draft of the workshop Call for Papers
5. Short biographies of the workshop organizers
6. A list of prospective members of the workshop program committee
7. The expected number of attendees and the planned length of the
workshop (i.e., 1/2 day or full day)

ICCE 2011 : Call for Tutorial Proposals
A tutorial event proposal should be less than three pages in length and
should contain:
1. Title of the tutorial event
2. Name, affiliation, email, and URL of the proposer(s)
3. An abstract (approx. 200 words): describing the main purpose of the
tutorial event and stating the significance of the topic for the
proposed tutorial event
4. Short biographies of the tutorial organizers
5. Description of the format of the tutorial event, including a
narrative of the tutorial event flow
6. Include examples of materials, hardware, software, and other
technologies used in this tutorial event
7. Number of participants you can accommodate
8. Summary of equipment needs. We cannot commit in advance to meet all
requests. The equipment needs should be discussed with the conference
organizers

ICCE 2011 : Call for Interactive Event Proposals
The goal of the interactive events is intended to offer the participants
opportunities for interactive learning through manipulation,
problem-solving, discussion, and engagement. An interactive event may be
scheduled in a particular time slot, held asynchronously over several
days, or be a mixture of both. The interactive event format proposed by
the proposer is welcome.
An interactive event proposal should be less than three pages, and
should contain:
1. Title of the tutorial event
2. Name, affiliation, email, and URL of the proposer(s)
3. An abstract (approx. 200 words): describing the main purpose of the
interactive event and stating the significance of the topic for the
proposed interactive event
4. Description of the format of the interactive event, including a
narrative of the interactive event flow, including roles of organizers
and participants, and how participants will learn in this interactive event
5. Include examples of materials, hardware, software, and other
technologies used in this interactive event
6. Summary of scheduling needs ("One-shot" interactive event in a room?
Asynchronous or face-to-face interactive event distributed over the
conference period?)
7. Number of participants you can accommodate
8. Summary of equipment needs. We can not commit in advance to meet all
