Leading European researchers in education and technology will meet in Porto, Portugal for a three-day meeting of the Kaleidoscope network in technology-enhanced learning - the largest and most significant group of researchers devoted to exploring the future of learning with digital technologies.

Kaleidoscope is ending the year by producing new research in science learning with mobile devices, the impact of technology on higher education, and the recording and analysis of learners' interactions in technology-based learning systems.  Beginning in January, Kaleidoscope will launch new joint research projects related to games for learning, language learning, learning in public spaces, and more.

The meeting will cover all of Kaleidoscope's activities, with workshops about advanced training activities, the Kaleidoscope Shared Virtual Laboratory, and its Virtual Doctoral School.  There will also be discussion about a scientific vision statement.

The meeting is hosted by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
