This site is to document ongoing research on learning trails in the real world.
The basic idea is that keeping a trail of where you have been helps you
to learn. Technology can help automatically generate digital
trails, from web browsing, walking through a city, or - what I
concentrate on - museum visits.
A trail could be represented in many ways - as a line through a network of nodes, as a linear list, or as a blog.
This is an example of a research blog, which documents in an informal way my journey through museums, journals, etc.
A sort of meta-blog about trails. Since it is a blog and not a thesis
or journal article, it is a place to explore ideas, so they may be
tentative or undeveloped.
