The JTEL Winter School targets late-stage PhD candidates. This year, it is held in conjunction with the Alpine Rendez-Vous in La Clusaz, France. Please apply by December 13, 2011.
The JTEL Winter School targets
late-stage PhD candidates. It brings doctoral researchers from multiple
disciplines together and offers opportunities for them to engage in
interactive workshops and informal discussions with leading scientists.Doctoral
candidates will also have the opportunity to present their own research
and get constructive feedback from other participants. All candidates
will present their work to a mock PhD panel.In addition to
interactive workshops, discussions, and teamwork, the JTEL Winter School
program also allocates time to sports activities.
This year, the Winter School is held in conjunction with the Alpine Rendez-Vous in La Clusaz, France. Participants will attend initial sessions of two of the workshops in the Alpine Rendez-Vous programme.

All accepted applicants will receive a STELLAR scholarship covering food and accommodation.A few additional grants for travel will be granted upon request.
