Methods for Evaluating Computer Supported Collaborative Learning

This workshop was organised by the Kaleidoscope special interest group in Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning.

Operating under the umbrella of the European Kaleidoscope CSCL SIG, the UK based Open University's Center for Research in Education and Educational Technology (CREET) ran a Two day Workshop on "Methods for Evaluating Computer Supported Collaborative Learning" at the Open University, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes, UK on 17th and 18th November, 2005.

They invited leading researchers and practitioners in the field of CSCL to present and teach their methods to participants in the workshop over a two day period. The workshop served as a multi-disciplinary forum for sharing experiences and discussing ideas about the appropriateness and practicality of concepts and methods used to design, apply and evaluate technologies for supporting collaborative learning.
