The TENCompetence Winter School is considered as an intense training and collaboration on the core topics related to the TENCompetence project, building the European Network for lifelong competence development. The programme includes lectures and hands-on sessions from leading experts in the field. Our ambition is to stimulate emergence of special interest groups and learning networks as well as to support joint research opportunities. PhD students from the PRO-LC Cluster as well as from outside are invited to participate and become part of the TENCompetence research community.

These information days are dedicated to the research challenges in the first ICT Work Programme of FP7 which fall under the responsibility of the 'Content' Directorate: Cognitive Systems, Interaction, Robotics, Digital Libraries and Content. The event is intended to help participants to understand the work programme, to facilitate sharing of ideas and experiences, and to find partners for project consortia.
The "Learning and Cultural Heritage" unit will organise some sessions on the research objectives for Digital Libraries and Technology-enhanced Learning.

FETC is one of the largest, most successful conferences in the United States devoted to educational technology. FETC is coordinated by the Florida Educational Technology Corporation.
