Call for Open Forum Proposals - ICCE 2008
To encourage more theme-oriented discussion and interaction in ICCE2008, we encourage proposals for a new genre of events, the Open Forum.
The format of an Open Forum is rather flexible; it consists of a sequence of activities, for example, a panel followed by a seminar, then by an interactive event, and finally by a panel again; or a sequence panels, each representing works by one of two teams; or some other creative format.
An open forum proposal should be less than three pages in length and contain the following:

1.      Title of the open forum
2.      Theme of the open forum
□ Theme 1: AIED/ITS & Adaptive Learning
□ Theme 2: CSCL & Learning Sciences
□ Theme 3: Advanced Learning Technologies, Open Contents, & Standards
□ Theme 4: CUMTEL & DIGITEL
□ Theme 5: Emerging Research in Technology Enhanced Learning
□ Others:
(Note: CUMTEL stands for Classroom, Ubiquitous, and Mobile Technologies Enhanced Learning; DIGITEL stands for Digital Game and Intelligent Toy Enhanced Learning.)
3.      A brief description of the open forum topic
4.      A list of the prospective panelists
5.      A prospective program
6.      Short biographies of the open forum organizers
7.      The expected number of attendees and the planned length of the open forum (i.e., 2 hours, 3 hours, or 1/2 day)
8.      Summary of equipment needs. We cannot commit in advance to meet all requests. The equipment needs should be discussed with the conference organizers
