Call for participation: MEDEA Award 2008 - Media in Education.
The MEDEA Award 2008 was officially launched at the Online Educa Berlin 2007 Conference. The main focus of the MEDEA Award is to encourage the use of digital moving images and sound in education. Our intention is to reward excellence and innovation in educational projects from producers, teachers, academics, support staff and students.
Participate! If members of your institution or department have produced
an
educational project in which video, multimedia or a media-rich
application was/is used, then we would like to encourage you to take
part
in the competition! Registration is open until 30th

The MEDEA Secretariat announced on 23rd May 2008 that five
finalists
will be invited to the Award Ceremony that will take place on 4
December in Berlin and will have the chance to win the first MEDEA
Award. Prizes for 2008 will include the award
itself and hardware to the value of 6,000 Euro. The Award
Ceremony will be held in December 2008 at
Online
Educa Berlin,
the world's largest international conference on technology supported
learning and training, where a special parallel session will be
dedicated
to these five finalists who can present their work and project to the
audience!
