The annual “Round Table and Retreat” being initiated at this year’s eLearning Africa in Nairobi is a by-invitation-only, one-day event for high-level policy and business decision makers on ICT-enhanced education in Africa that provides an excellent platform for the invited guests to communicate and collaborate. The “Round Table 2007” is hosted and chaired by the Hon. Prof. George Saitoti, Minister of Education in Kenya. ( read)

The 1st African UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Summit: “Access to and Inclusion in TVET in Africa through new ICT based solutions” will be held on May the 28th, 2007, in Nairobi, organised by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre in partnership with the Commonwealth of Learning, the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Africa and the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training ( read)

The "eLearning Africa" conference organisers Rebecca Stromeyer and Leopold Reif present the eLA conference concept at the DelPHE workshop hosted by the national University of Education in Winneba, Ghana. Ghana is one of the possible hosting countries for "eLearning Africa" in 2008 or 2009. ( read)
