Technologies can be used to enhance learning, both in and out of school.  Questions related to how, why and when to use technologies to enhance learning are the focus of considerable discussion and research.
The aims of this site are to provide:
    • information and tools to support the design and use of learning technologies in the African context.
    • news about relevant events, resources and projects likely to be of interest to the African community and for collaboration between Africa and Europe in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).
    • networking tools (blog, forum) for researchers and research students to discuss and exchange ideas in order to support the building of a strong African research community.
    • support for African research students to become active members of the TEL international research community.

Why and how to join

The network is open to all those who are involved in research that supports the design and use of learning technologies in the African context.
