Reflecting the current trends towards e-learning and ICT in education, this new book comprises a set of high-quality scientific papers, sourced from a wide international community, that present theoretical perspectives, pedagogical innovations, original empirical investigations, case studies and practical applications. Bringing together contributions from different educational systems and cultures around the world (from the UK, Canada, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Greece), this book serves as a multidisciplinary forum and gives an explicit view of the current international trends regarding the research and the application of ICT in educational practice.

The original papers received positive criticism and suggestion from, at least, two independent reviewers, experts in the various fields, after a blind review process.
