Constructionism 2012
Constructionism Conference to be held in Athens, Greece, on August 21-25, 2012.
Dear friends and colleagues,

I'm happy and excited to announce the Constructionism 2012 Conference to be held in Athens in about a year from now:
http://constructionism2012.etl.ppp.uoa.gr/

Please take a look at the site where you will also find videos of events from the 2010 Conference held in Paris (thanks Jim).

I will send email notifications of major updates to the site as it progresses.

For some of you who have got hold of the electronic version of our poster please note that the location will be at the Metropolitan Hotel, 15 minutes from the city center towards the seaside.

Even though constructionism has a life of more than 40 years, it continues to inspire an evolving and fore-running community with vision and creative ideas of how to use technologies for constructionist life-long learning. At the conference, we will no doubt be wanting to formulate new questions and challenges and exchange new ideas and recent experiences. Technological development, societal change and educational trends pose a challenge for our community to give a push to position constructionist epistemology in educational practices more clearly and widely, to shape constructionist theory and practices in the future, to learn from experiences and to develop clearer ways to describe them and their value in order to make connections with and show the relevance to wider communities.

Please distribute this announcement as you feel appropriate.

best wishes and hope to see you all in a year
