The International Symposium takes place on 21-22 September 2011 at the Department of Applied Educational Science, Umeå University (Sweden).
Connecting people and different research fields; sharing ideas and communities - designing opportunities for learning - this is the slogan of IML2011. We want to enable a creative event where we reflect new ideas and open research questions regarding ICT, media and learning subtitled with "Creative Learning Cultures - Educational Innovations in a Web 2.0 World".

We would like to invite you to the International symposium.

In order to create an exciting new research program regarding ICT, media and learning, the "IML group" conduct an International September Symposium about 'creative learning cultures' and 'educational innovations in a Web 2.0 world'. We've invited 11 International experts, for example, Kirsten Drotner (Denmark), Gerhard Fischer (USA), Thomas Herrmann (Germany), Rob Procter (UK), George Siemens (Canada), Barbara Wasson (Norway), Scott Wilson (UK).
