Position and requirements
The successful applicant will design and implement R&D&i projects in the fields of Technology-Enhanced Learning, and Social Networks, as core topics.
We are looking for an expert in these fields. Special interest in: a) establishment and fostering social networks (community building), and b) design and implementation of social networks and Learning Management Systems (LMS), with advanced services (i.e. Personalisation, Recommender systems, and Interaction strategies). The candidate must show a strong expertise in project management.
Candidate might come from any fields of expertise (i.e. Educational Technology, Computer Science, Education, etcetera). (S)he must demonstrate good knowledge in educational technology (i.e. learning strategies, CSCL, adaptive learning, training pilots, and educational tools), software design and development, and skills in communication at all levels (special focus on community building). Coordination skills and a strong affinity with research methods as well as dissemination and exploitation planning are important, as the successful candidate will have a significant role in further development of the Technology-Enhanced Learning and Social Networks R&D area.
Additional features
Applicants should have knowledge on the overall state-of-the-art of Technology-Enhanced Learning, Social Networks, and Information and Communication Technologies in Europe; knowledge on International tendencies is also welcomed. Good analytical capabilities are needed, along with previous work and collaborations in research activities or working groups in R&D project funded by the European Commission will be appreciated. High level of English is required and excellent capabilities of written English are essential.
