The UNESCO Chair in e-Learning of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) organizes and presents the VII International Seminar:

Mobile Technologies for Learning and Development

This year, we will explore the potential of mobile technologies as a learning medium which every day lures more and more educators, software and hardware developers, policymakers and telecom providers. The seminar will address issues relevant for each of these sectors and, most importantly, the issues emerging at the crossing points of them, focusing on poorer communities, nationally and internationally. Relevant case studies from various regions of the world (Europe, Latin America, India, South Africa) will demonstrate possibilities for empowering the disadvantaged people.

The Chair has just launched the updated microsite of the seminar, in which we offer updated information on speakers, demos, program, venue and accommodation.
Both the Call For Demos and online Registration are open.

We encourage the partipation, as long the format of the talks and demostrations of the seminar allows the parcipation of the attendees. We want to hear, listen, share and learn from real experiences and cases, it doesn't matter if they ended in succees or failure, as long as we can learn from them.
