2010 Euro-Africa Cooperation Forum on ICT Research
Learning and Reflecting on ICT Collaborative Research and Development - Projecting the Future of ICT Research in Africa
Feb. 3, 2010 (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - United Nations Conference Centre)
------------------------------------------------
Important notification: to allow the Forum's attendees to participate in the "AU 2010 ICT Exhibition" (Jan. 29 - Feb. 2) the Forum has been postponed from Feb. 2 to Feb. 3

This event - co-located with the "African Union 2010 Summit and ICT Exhibition" - is organised by the EuroAfrica-ICT FP7 project and is supported by the AUC and the EC under the ICT theme of its FP7. This event - a follow-up of the highly successful one held in Brussels, Belgium in March 2009 - aims at promoting and supporting the development of Euro-Africa cooperation on ICT research between sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and Europe. Over 200 delegates are expected to attend this 1-day Forum -- among them: ICT experts, policy and decision makers, heads of stakeholder institutions and international organisations, academia from sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, together with high-level representatives from the AUC and the EC.

Register now! Due to room capacity constraints seats will be offered on a "first come - first served" basis. You can also decide to sponsor the event -- collected funds will help the Forum organisers to ensure a larger participation of high-level delegates from sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean (by offering grants covering part of their travel and subsistence expenses).
