ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN, the largest global e-learning conference for the corporate and public service sectors in education and training, is fast approaching.
From workplace and corporate learning, learning environments of the future, mobile learning, the latest trends through to e-learning in the wake of the financial crisis: this is just a small selection of the themes that will be addressed at the most important global meeting on e-learning, taking place from December 2nd - 4th, 2009.
Particular highlights will include an opening speech on innovative learning and the integration of video games into the learning process delivered by Oscar-winning film producer, politician and e-learning advocate Lord Puttnam; a keynote speech concerning the expansion of e-learning and Open Source in the corporate sector by Moodle-founder Martin Dougiamas, and the somewhat controversial topic of information overload and distraction to be debated by Dr Aric Sigman, prominent e-learning expert Donald Clark and consultant Jerry Michalski.
