Call for Papers: New Learning Generation (eLearning Papers)
This issue on the "new learning generation" and on "new ways of learning" enabled by ICT seeks to bring together evidence, practice and/or theories on the key elements of this emerging new learning landscape.
eLearning Papers looks contributions on "New Learning Generation". The invited editor of this issue is Mr. Yves Punie, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies, European Commission.  
This issue on the "new learning generation" and on "new ways of learning" enabled by ICT seeks to bring together evidence, practice and/or theories on the key elements of this emerging new learning landscape.  

Possible questions to be addressed:
  • What are the similarities and differences with current and previous learner generations and learning styles?
  • What is the role of ICT applications (social computing, social media, web 2.0, learning 2.0, mobile learning, and game-based learning) in the new learning?
  • Where is the learning in the "new" learning? Is it new?
  • Is learning becoming more efficient, equitable, innovative, and creative?
  • What are the implications of the new learner generation for lifelong learning?
