Ethics, Cybernetics and Informatics are being increasingly related both: conceptually and instrumentally. A twofold purpose guides the organization of Info-CybernEthics 2007 in the context of WMSCI 2007:

To bring together researchers and practitioners working in this interdisciplinary domain with the objectives of:
Enriching the international reflection on the importance of the ethical and societal aspects of the Information Society.
Promoting a balanced overview on controversial issues and fostering the presentation of conflicting and clashing opinions.
Highlighting the conceptual, theoretical, and philosophical relationships between Cybernetics and Ethics, especially in the case of Second Order Cybernetics.
To expose and acquaint the usual audience of WMSCI conferences to the very relevant and important issues which are emerging in the interdisciplinary domains of Info-Ethics and Info-Cybernetics.
