On 05 November 2007 Location: online / publication CFP for a special issue in "Computers in Human Behavior" on Design Patterns for Augmenting E-Learning experiences.
Computers in Human Behavior [http://ees.elsevier.com/chb] is a scholarly journal dedicated to examining the use of computers from a
psychological perspective. The journal addresses human interactions with computers,
not computers per se. The computer is discussed only as a medium through which human behaviors are shaped and expressed.
The theme of the special issue Designers of e-learning environments
need to satisfy a wide range of user requirements within severe time
and resources constraints. E-learning environments, in order to be
successful, need to be crafted for experience. Experiencing something
involves a complex set of psychophysical processes: sensation,
perception, apperception, cognition, affection, and sometimes conation.
