Kaleidoscope's open archive iniative, TeLearn, is announced in the news briefs for IST Results , on the web sites CORDIS , infobourg.fr internationale-kooperation.de, Le Scienze , Checkpoint eLearning , and eLearning.nl , as well as in the Marchmont Observatory's newsletter .

Nicolas Balacheff (CNRS, France), Kaleidoscope's scientific manager, speaks with Checkpoint eLearning about Kaleidoscope's open archive initiative, TeLearn, the first international open archive for Technology Enhanced Learning.

The  Workshop on Interactive Learning Environments for arithmetic and algebra (held on 14 November in Grenoble, France), organised by Kaleidoscope's European research team Technology Enhanced Learning in Mathematics, was highlighted in the Events section of  Cordis

News of Kaleidoscope member Rosa Maria Bottino (ITD, IT) receiving an award from the International for Information Processing for her outstanding service in  education appeared in Checkpoint eLearning .

In a feature entitled "Demonstrating the potential of technology-enhanced learning" on the Information Society Technologies Results web site, Dissemination Team Leader Paul Davey discusses the aims of Kaleidoscope.

The feature, 'Missing links: the future of learning with digital technologies' , which appears in the Embassy of Austria's Office of Science & Technology's online journal Bridges, includes an overview of some of the current research undertaken by Kaleidoscope members.

The Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning Awards were announced on  Checkpoint eLearning Europa, AlphaGalileo, competence-site.de, internationale-kooperation.de, the websites of the University of Kassel, DEe-teaching.org and the European University Association .  The awards were also announced on ISTResults and in the European University Association's September newsletter , as well as Web Flash, a newsletter published by the Marchmont Observatory.
