The access rules for your workspace are as follow:
Everyone (member of kaleidoscope or not) can access to your workspace.
Everyone can add comments to blogs, and post messages on forums.
Only kaleidoscope members can access to your files in your repository.
What are development and final version?
Each HTML page on your
website have a development and a final version. Final version of a page
is what a visitor will see whereas the developement version allow you
to edit your pages and publish them when you want.
You can switch between development version and final version by clicking on the eye icon in
the toolbar.

it shows that you are in the final version (the one that visitors can
see). If you click on this icon you will access to the development
version of this page.

How can I edit a page?
There is 2 solutions:
The pen icon appears in the toolbar
To edit a page, click on this icon
in the toolbar in the top-left of the window. It will open an online
editor witch will allow you to edit easily your page. Once you have
edited your page, click on the save button. It will save it in the
development version of the page. If you don't want to save click on on
the icon in the toolbar.
It will make you return to the development version.
In order to publish a page (synchronize the final version from
the development one), access your page in the development
version and click on the
icon in the toolbar.

You have to access to the administration interface by clicking on
. You will see a list
of your files. Click on the file you want to edit, edit it in the editor and save it.
In order to publish the edited page, in the file list check the checkbox near the file and
then click on the "update" button.
How can I create a new page?
If you want to create a new HTML page in your workspace, access to the administration interface by clicking on
. then click on the "new file" button,
enter the name of your file in the input field and submit the result. Now that the file is created, you have to
enter the content of the new file by editing it. To edit do so, click on the file in this adminsitration
interface, choose your editor, edit the content of the file and save the result.
Notice that in this process the file has been created and edited in the development version.
In order to publish it, in the file list check the checkbox near the file and
then click on the "update" button.
How can I edit my personal space's label?
Just go to this page. You will be able to edit
your label.
Notice: If your old label still appears in some webpages of your
personal workspace, it's up to you to edit the page and change it.
I have not found on this page the help I was searching for. What can I do?
Click on the mail icon
in the toolbar. It will allow you send a mail to the administrator who will help you.
But please, give as much details as possible.
