The healthcare industry is constantly changing to incorporate new advances in science and to address new needs within society. Recent developments in communication technology have greatly facilitated the exchange of information and expertise. Telehealth is an emerging field in which health services are transmitted over a long distance using technologies such as videoconferencing, the Internet, store-and-forward imaging, streaming media, satellites, and wireless communications. Telehealth promises to impact the ways that clinical healthcare, health-related education, public health, and health administration are approached. Telehealth 2007 is intended to be an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in and applications of Telehealth to exchange the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas.
Where is the real hard learning in a game?
Can you use a game based learning approach to knowledge transfer or IT training?
Is there more to this than meets the eye?
Used appropriately games will undoubtedly be a useful addition to the learning mix. This one day seminar will explore the subject from the corporate, learner and instructional design viewpoints, illustrating where game based learning really will work – and where it won’t.

The Microlearning Conferences are about new forms of learning emerging in the microcontent-based digital media environments. Microcontent is the kind of (very) small pieces (quite) loosely joined that emerged in the last five years, in the Web as well as in the mobile/cellular sphere. As "microcontent"is breaking free from macro-sized silos to form new, much more loosely coupled formats and structures, old forms of e-learning, of knowledge management, and of information acquisition must fail.
