The Kaleidoscope project 'Mobile Learning in Informal Science Settings' was presented at the workshop, held last June in Milton Keynes, UK.  (Find out more and watch video from the workshop here .)  Papers presented there have now been edited into a special issue of JIME .  They include an introduction by guest editors and Kaleidoscope members Ann Jones and Daisy Mwanza (with Agnes Kukulska-Hulme), and Mobile technologies: prospects for their use in learning in informal science settings, by Kaleidoscope members Eileen Scanlon, Ann Jones and Jenny Waycott.
