Funding is being provided by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to encourage researchers to work together and find solutions to the challenges which face the development of technology enhanced learning, particulary to understand the how people learn in both formal and informal settings, and what we need to do to respond to societal changes and exploit opportunities created by new technologies.
