Kaleidoscope invites any legal entities considered by the European Commission to apply for Associate Membership. These would usually include research centres, universities, enterprises, including small or medium enterprises (SMEs), and research and tehcnology assocations. Associate membership offers the following benefits:
Access to Europe's largest research network for Technology Ehhanced Learning. With over 1,000 researchers from 91 research units, representing 24 countries and across the European Union, there are clear advantages to be gained from communicating and collaborating with some of the leading researchers in the field
Use of Kaleidoscope intranet, tools and services and attendence and involvement with Kaleidoscope activities - workshops, events
Possibility to get more involved with Kaleidoscope research teams and engaging with more specific activities through Kaleidoscope's yearly call for proposals for joint activities. This could also lead to the possibility of becoming a full member of the network (which would also involve formal contractual obligations)
In turn, Kaleidoscope welcomes input from its associated members, who can feed back valuable information and data which helps the network achieve its goal - to shape the scientific evolution of the technology enhanced learning across Europe and beyond.
