A forum module is a module that allow ordered discussion beetween peoples. A forum can contains several discussion group (usefull to separate different topics).
In a discussion group you can see the subject list order from the latest to the oldest (depending of the date of the message or of a response) . If you want to read a message, you have to click on the title of the desired message. It will also display the discussion file associated to the message. In brackets, just after the title, you can see the number of responses for this message.
The "<<" and ">>" buttons in the right-top corner of the forum, will allow you to naviguate between messages to see older or newer ones.
The "pack" button will reduce the message list by showing no response list.
The form in the middle-top of the forum will allow you to make research. You can enter a string and select if you want to see the messages witch contains this string in their title, content or author name. A popup will be open and contain the list of messages that correspond. You will be able to read those messages by clicking on their title. If you click on "read on context" it will select and show this message in the previous window (the one witch has opened the popup) and you will be able to see all the thread that contain this message.
There is a RSS feed for the forum. You can get the feed's URL by clicking on the rss icon

The RSS feed won't be accessible in RSS readers if the forum is not public.
